I've finally figured out how to create a guestbook that I'm happy with, at least for now. Right now, I'm focusing more on the functionality, secondary pages, and site layout than on the content, because once that's done, I can start creating interesting things without having to worry about design. And later I'll transfer this entire system I'll create to my native language—because I want to. For now, the Belarusian version of the site will be a bit truncated. If anyone's interested, I'm currently reading a collection of short stories set in the shared universe, "Menace from Earth," by Robert Heinlein. Frankly, I'm amazed. The characters are so lifelike, and after just a short time with them, you become attached to them and understand their motivations. I can't say more for now; I'm filled with emotions, but they're difficult to distill into text, or they disappear before I can even catch them. Later, I might transfer these impressions to a separate section, but for now, there are things that are more important.

Today is the day that this site began. Strange feeling - to have something on the world wide web almost wholly thine. Almost yet, for I still must begin to believe in this. I desire to create something not usual for the indie web. Something deeply mine. And thou canst see my plans. I hope folk will find my work here at the least interesting. And hopefully, it remaineth to be interesting for me.
